What is Intec stain protection?
Developed for Commercial use in hotels and airlines, this innovative resinous co-polymer formula is now available for the home too.
Intec stain protection is the most comprehensive product available. There is also a product to protect against dust mites!
Benefits of Intec stain protection
- forms an invisible shield around every fibre, keeping your carpet looking good and making it easier to clean and care for
- is extremely durable and gives lasting protection even in the most demanding conditions
- dries in minutes and gives immediate protection with minimal disruption
- does not alter the fabric’s colour, texture or flame retardancy, so even the most delicate silks can be treated with confidence
- has been designed to be environmentally friendly
- is water based and it does not contain harmful solvents
Intec stain protection shrugs off dirt and spills
Intec’s new soil release formula repels dirt and even oil based spills. Anti-static agents prevent attraction of dry soils to carpets and fabrics, ensuring quick and effective everyday cleaning, and reduces abrasion and significantly increases the usable life of your carpet.
Spills are simply mopped up by absorbent paper or a clean towel – even dried in stains are easy to remove.
Deep down protection
Intec’s deep-down protection ensures that when the stains disappear, so do the smells; even tobacco smells cannot linger in the fibres. Unlike other household products on the market, Intec normally requires only one application no matter how often you clean your carpets and fabrics.
Intec is continually developed to ensure it remains the most efficient, cost effective, ecologically sound carpet and fabric protector on the market.
What to do if an accident occurs
If it is a liquid spill, blot as much of the spillage as possible using plenty of absorbent kitchen roll. Use light pressure and do not scrub, but let the kitchen paper absorb as much liquid as possible. In many cases, this will be all that is needed.
If it is a dry stain or the marking remains after treatment, dampen a clean sponge in warm slightly soapy water. Use the sponge to gently loosen the stain from the fibres. Again, do not scrub. Dry with a clean towel or kitchen paper. Repeat the damp sponge and drying process if necessary.
What is the cost?
At Hurren and Glynn the normal cost for to apply Intec is £3.50 per square metre. However, for January and February 2018 we are offering a 25% discount on this price, reducing the cost to £2.62 per square metre.
