Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT)
A market that is growing at an extraordinary rate at Hurren and Glynn of Brighton and Hove is Luxury Vinyl Tiles. We stock many ranges – some are more well-known than others, such as ‘Karndean’ but we also stock ‘Moduleo’, ‘Project Flooring’, ‘Victoria’ and a budget range by ‘LG’.
Probably our biggest seller and most popular brand, ‘Moduleo,’ recently won the best Luxury Vinyl Tile supplier in the prestigious ‘Interiors Monthly Awards’
The annual Interiors Monthly Awards showcases the best retailers, manufacturers and suppliers in the industry and the winners were announced in the August 2016 edition of the magazine. Moduleo was chosen for its innovative, diverse range of durable stylish products which feature in several high profile residential and commercial projects across the country.
David Burford, Managing Director of Moduleo UK and Eire comments, “We are thrilled to have been named best Luxury Vinyl Tile supplier in the Interiors Monthly Awards this year.”
“The accolade highlights our commitment to design excellence and delivering high quality flooring products.”
We have had nothing but good reports from our customers on Moduleo Luxury Vinyl Tile and it is now widely used by kitchen fitters and builders when developing houses.
The two main ranges of Moduleo that we stock at Hurren and Glynn are ‘Select’ and ‘Transform.’ Both have massive choices of either wood effect planks of stone effect tiles.
The selection of wood planks over both ranges is huge. Designs range from a ‘distressed’ wood look (which, judging by sales, seems to be the fashionable ‘look’ at the moment), such as ‘Country Oak 24277’ through to a darker warmer look such as ‘Country Oak 24958’.
If it is a ‘Pine’ look that you were after, ‘Moduleo’ have a fantastic selection of distressed designs. The ‘Maritime Pine’, collection includes design 24943, which is a dark grey colour to ‘Maritime Pine 24241’, which has a browner, more ‘woody’ appeal.
If it is a classic look that you were after, Moduleo have ‘Midland Oak 22929’, but if you want a warm cosy feel to your room, you couldn’t go wrong with their ‘Baltic Maple 28230’.
If you want to ‘push the boat out’ and give your home that truly indulgent touch then ‘Blackjack Oak in ‘Herringbone tiles’– this generally costs a little more to lay, but the results are stunning! Just like the real thing but without all of the upkeep.
Also available in ‘Persian Walnut 20843’ or ‘Latin Pine 24242’.
The ‘wood look’ isn’t for everyone so Moduleo also have a fantastic range of ‘Stone’ tile finishes.
‘Cantera’ is a metal effect tile that is proving exceptionally popular and is available in four colours.
‘Jetstone’ is a concrete look tile that comes in three different colours. The classic ‘concrete’ look that gives a slight industrial appearance in the ‘Transform’ range in four different colours.
‘Jurastone’ has a slight marble effect available in ‘Transform’ again and there are four different designs to choose from.
For ‘slate’ effect try ‘Zeera Slate’ in ‘Transform’ available in two different colours.
99% of all the Moduleo ranges, whether ‘Select‘ or ‘Transform’ are available in either ‘dryback’ (which is either adhered to 6mm plywood for wood floors, or adhered to a latex screed if the floor is concrete.) OR if your floor is already totally flat and smooth you have the option of using the ‘click’ system saving the cost of additional floor preparation.
With the ‘click’ system the planks simply click together without the need for adhesive plywood or screed.
At Hurren and Glynn, we offer all these ranges and more. All are very competitively priced and are available as ‘supply only’ or with our full installation service.
We are rarely beaten on supply only internet prices, so if you are looking for a great supply only deal please call us or use the contact form on the website.
