Saxony Carpet for all budgets
In a recent project we have fitted the stunning ‘Chablis’ Saxony carpet to an exclusive house in Sevenoaks, Kent. Although our showroom is based in Brighton and Hove we regularly work in Kent and throughout the South East.
One of the owners of Hurren and Glynn surveyed the property to ensure everything went smoothly with the work. The house is very big and presented a few challenges which Hurren and Glynn overcame without hassle.
The house has a stunning curved staircase and the client wanted the carpet to be cut as a runner. Roger Watson, one of the business owners, was on site personally to ensure the curve was cut to the clients exact requirements.
To improve the overall look of the carpet, the carpet was seamed in the doorways to create the illusion of more space. The picture below shows how well the seams were done as they are barely noticeable.
The Chablis range is from luxury Faux Silk. The carpet is granted a Heavy Domestic and Commercial rating so is suitable for all areas in the house. It has a tog rating of 1.26 which means if it is fitted with Ball & Young’s Roma underlay it is suitable for areas with underfloor heating.
The carpet range is from ITC Natural Luxury Flooring and the full range of colours can be seen if you follow the link below.
